Documents required for the transportation of live animals
Different regulations apply for each country. Please let us know the planned flight route and we will immediately send you all the relevant information on the required documents. As an experienced transport agency, we are very familiar with the current legal requirements and ensure that all documents are provided completely, correctly and on time.
- European Union pet passport or vaccination certificate. Only EU pet passports are accepted for transportation within the EU.
- Official veterinary certificate that confirms, that the animal is healthy and suitable for the flight. In case of transportation within the EU, a VET health check prior to the journey is mandatory.
- Blood test as required in accordance with the regulations of the respective country.
- Confirmation of quarantine reservation (if country regulations require quarantine on arrival)
- Airfreight order between forwarder and shipper.
- Export customs clearance order.
- Import permits, depending on the destination country.
- UID number (serves to identify the company (tax no.) or private individual on documents, notifications and files of the customs office. The exporter or importer requires an UID number for customs clearance of all export or import movements).
- Declaration of value or invoice for shipments outside the EU.
